Maintenance Engineer at APL – Kungens Kurva Are you a technology-oriented problem solver who wants to work with maintenance in a socially important operation and GMP-regulated environment? At APL, we are now looking for a driven Maintenance Engineer who wants to contribute to safe, stable, and secure operations in a high-tech and GMP-regulated environment for pharmaceutical production and laboratory activities at our facility in Kungens Kurva. Here, you will play a key role in a competent team where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus.

About the role As a Maintenance Engineer, you have a central role as you are responsible for planning, executing, and documenting both preventive and corrective maintenance on our equipment as well as on our property and media systems. You work broadly within property management and handle ventilation, cooling, heating, control and monitoring systems, and other technical installations.

In this role, you collaborate closely with other departments and support the business in technical matters. You handle complex troubleshooting, technical challenges, and actively contribute to investment and improvement projects. The work also includes calibration, validation, technical support, and procurement of spare parts and services.

Examples of tasks:

• Plan and perform maintenance according to applicable instructions and maintenance plans

• Calibrate and validate equipment

• Participate in projects and improvement work

• Manage deviations and changes in the quality system

• Work in our digital work order and maintenance systems

• Participate in inspections from authorities and customers

• Support other departments and tenants with technical expertise

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a technical or scientific education at the university level, or equivalent experience in the process or pharmaceutical industry. You are used to working in a structured and systematic way with maintenance work and have preferably led your own projects.

You have:

• At least 3 years of experience in property management and automation

• Experience in preventive/corrective maintenance

• Good computer skills and confidence in Office 365

• A strong technical interest and good collaboration skills

• Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Scope A permanent position of 40 hours/week, daytime (with an initial probation period of six months). As part of this position, on-call duty is included after an introductory period.
